CMYK FILE CREATION

Basics:

Max paper size: 11”x17”
Max printable area: 10.5”x16.5” 

Adobe Photoshop File Setup:

•  Convert your artwork to CMYK

  • Choose Image>Mode>CMYK color

  • Select Split Channels from the pull down menu on the right

• Save each of the separate files as PDF documents, preferably including the color in the

  name of each saved file for your convenience.

• To ensure that your image is positioned correctly open the image>file>print, under paper

  size select tabloid or ledger. In the drop down menu on the bottom left select save as PDF. This process must be repeated for each separated layer.
